There is a particular temptation when planning a journey: to make every day look full. A map offers another stop, a photograph suggests another viewpoint, and soon the route becomes a promise to keep moving. But a generous itinerary can be generous in a different way: it can give you time.

Notice what is already there

A longer pause can make an ordinary part of the day memorable: light changing across a hillside, a conversation at breakfast or the relief of having no immediate departure. This is an editorial invitation to choose your pace, not a claim about any guest's experience.

Make room deliberately

Choose the few experiences that matter most and tell your planner which moments you want to leave open. A route with fewer stops is not automatically the right route for everyone. The value is in making the choice consciously, with the whole group in mind.
